Business Lessons

A year ago I wrote a series of posts regarding the Cadimage Story.

Reflecting on these posts there are a number of lessons I learnt during my time at Cadimage.

Over the next weeks I’m going to start sharing my lessons in the hope you can apply some of the thinking to your business (if it makes sense that is!)

I definitely don’t have all the answers and I am continuing to learn, make mistakes, and learn some more. While it can be tough, I focus on mistakes as a learning opportunity. I’ve always told my team that I accept and tolerate mistakes as they happen. I’m a bit less tolerant however of the same mistakes being repeated as that shows that we aren’t learning.

In many cases the lessons will sound like common sense. However, one thing I have found about common sense is that in business at least, it isn’t all that common.
